Delta Dental Plans Association and DeltaUSA appoint new officers to national boards

OAK BROOK, Ill. — February 25, 2021 — The Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA) Board of Directors has appointed three new officers. Allan Allford, President & CEO, Delta Dental of Arizona, was appointed Chair, Rob Goren, President & CEO, Delta Dental of Missouri, was appointed Vice Chair, and Doug Ballweg, President & CEO, Delta Dental of Wisconsin, was appointed Secretary/Treasurer. DDPA is the not-for-profit national association of the 39 independent Delta Dental companies. Through these companies, Delta Dental is the nation's largest dental insurance provider, covering more than 80 million Americans.

For DeltaUSA, a subsidiary of DDPA that facilitates Delta Dental's multistate and national programs, Dennis Wilson, President & CEO, Delta Dental of New Jersey, will continue to serve as Chair, Mark Mitchke, President & CEO, Delta Dental of Washington, was named Vice Chair, and Ed Choate, President & CEO, Delta Dental of Arkansas, will continue to serve as Secretary/Treasurer.

The appointments are effective as of January 1, 2021.
